UK headquarters

The RSPB has its UK headquarters at The Lodge, Bedfordshire, backed up by regional offices around the country.

We carry out conservation work in many different areas - for example, at our 200-plus nature reserves, helping farmers find wildlife-friendly methods, researching bird populations and working with international partners abroad.

We also carry out advocacy with government on topics as diverse as planning, wind farms and economics. Getting people of all ages interested in wildlife and the environment around them is also a vitally important part of our role.
