North Scotland
Our work is focused around a number of key themes: crofting, farming and farmland birds; peatlands; Caledonian pinewood; corncrakes and machair; key species (like capercaillie, black grouse, white-tailed eagle, red kite, black-throated diver and Slavonian grebe) and nesting waders (such as lapwing, snipe, dunlin and redshank); and wildlife tourism.
These priorities are reflected in the nature reserves we own or manage, the projects we get involved with and the research and monitoring we undertake.
