Autumnwatch with the RSPB

Red deer

If you love the incredible sights, sounds and smells of autumn, don't miss BBC2's Autumnwatch.

Kate Humble, Simon King, Chris Packham and the gang will be fronting the show once again and bringing you all the best wildlife action from around the UK this autumn.

This year's series will run from Friday 2 October to Friday 20 November. The one hour shows will be broadcast between 9-10pm every Friday night, repeated on Saturday afternoons for all the family to watch. The main show will also be followed by Autumnwatch Unsprung between 10-10.30pm.

Inspired by the show, we hope we'll be able to help you satisfy your yearning for more with loads of great ideas on our 'Autumnwatch' pages for enjoying autumn's wildlife and the very best places to see it.

From epic bird migrations, to rutting deer, we'll help you to see it for yourself - and if you'd like to enjoy nature closer to home, we'll show you how to create a home for wildlife in your own garden.
