Come to Manchester City Centre and get close to one of the fastest birds in the world - the peregrine falcon. Opening timesWatch live action from the nest on the BBC Big Screen in Manchester's Exchange Square, 11 am-6 pm every day except Mondays. FacilitiesThere will be two telescopes available for you to use. When images are not on the Big Screen we will show footage on a TV screen. Pubs, cafes and restaurants can be found throughout the City Centre. Toilets are located in nearby shops, pubs and catering establishments. How to get thereExchange Square is in the heart of Manchester City Centre, between Corporation Street and Victoria Street, just to the North of the Arndale Centre. The Square is within easy walking distance of both Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. From 26 April-7 September there will be an exhibition of urban gardening, featuring footage of the Manchester peregrines. This is a partnership project with The BBC and Manchester City Council. |
