Farms aren't just great homes for cows, sheep, chickens and pigs – they can also be fantastic habitats for wildlife.

Join us down on the farm and find an inner city oasis teaming with wildlife - from house sparrows hopping about among the cows, and blue tits flitting through the trees, to kestrels hovering above the fields.

Old Rectory Farm is a 17th-century dairy farm set in Sheldon Country Park – 300 acres of grassland, wetland and woodland. As well farm animals, including pigs, goats, ponies, ducks and geese, you will see plenty of house sparrows and might even spot skylarks, song thrushes and buzzards.

Northycote Farm is a historic farmhouse set within acres of woodland, parkland and pasture. As well as being home to many rare breed farm animals, it is also home to a wealth of wildlife, including barn owls, little owls and kestrels.
