This project has now finished for 2007.

Ospreys are now well established in the Tweed Valley Forest Park, with ten chicks in total raised in 2006.

From the arrival of the adults in April through to the family leaving for Africa in late August, live CCTV images of the osprey nest let you get fantastic views of the families' progress from hatching to the chicks' first flights.

You will get the chance to see a wide variety of other species live on camera with the Windows on Wildlife project. Watch nesting swallows, blue tits, jackdaws, and, hopefully, owls and bats. Recorded butterfly footage and highlights of other raptor species at their nests will also be shown.

Cameras at the bird feeding station at Glentress Osprey Watch Centre will get you up close to the woodland birds that visit the feeders there.

After your visit, keep up to date with the progress of the family via the Forestry Commission Scotland diary.

There is a £2 car parking charge at Glentress Forest.

Entry to Osprey Watch Centre at Kailzie Gardens is £1, children free. Other charges apply for the gardens, but it is possible to just visit the osprey centre.
