Join us aboard the catamaran 'Cerismar Two' for a wildlife cruise around Puffin Island.

As a designated National Nature Reserve and protected as a breeding seabird colony, there is plenty to see on and around Puffin Island, and with live commentary on every cruise you won't miss a thing.

Get close to puffins, eider ducks, cormorants, red breasted merganser, kittiwakes and gannets, see sandwich terns diving for fish next to the boat, and experience the sights and sounds of thousands of guillemots and razorbills nesting on the island cliffs.

In 2007 we were also lucky enough to see choughs, peregrines and a storm petrel.

However, it isn't just birds that make these water's their home - grey seals are often seen on the far side of the island, and there are also occasional sightings of bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoise.

Friendly staff will be on board to point out birds to you, tell you a little bit about the history of the area and answer any questions. An information stand on the pier has further information, advice and details about other events and activities in the area.

These cruises are extremely popular and can fill up early, to avoid disappointment advance booking is essential. Prices: Adults £8.50, children, concessions and RSPB members £6.50.
