Just had an auto upgrade to FF10 so i thought i had better check if it works lol.
They are brilliant pictures doggie, can I ask what camera do you use. Alan
Hiya thanks... it's a Canon 500D
Sigh... camera envy.
I think you can be sure it works, Alan. I'm envious of the LTT photos.
Super pics, Alan. FF10 works but I'm not going to upgrade as some of my add-ons won't work with it.
Don't understand why Mozilla keep upgrading so often.
How far are the birds from you, and is camera on a tripod, what lens, sorry to go on, but I am in the process of buying a new lens for my nikon, one or two on here were very helpful, including Aiki, who I thought was a man, ups, were very helpful. cheers. Alan
The camera was on a tripod for the LTT's as i have it ready for the Wren they about 25m away..the Magpie was handheld and probably same distance (in next doors garden) and i had the Sigma 150-500 on at the time...
Hi TJ i think the constant upgrades are down to it being open source.
Alan - When you upload the pics onto the website what format are the files? I posted a picture of yellowhammer the other day which looks great on the original but is all blurry on the website because the max file size is small. Any tips on how to upload picture of that clarity with such a small file size limit would be appreciated - Steve
Hi Steve they are in jpeg ignore the file size limit and post them as you have them on your pc..if they are massive photos 6mb etc re-size them to around 1280x835..have a read here www.rspb.org.uk/.../389440.aspx
If you want to practice try one in here i don't mind
Yep got it. Didn't bother posting but got all the way to the post bit.
no problem..i leave mine if they are a max of 1.5mb but any bigger i re-size just because they load faster
Another tip once you've uploaded your photo click the preview tab then right click the photo and open in another tab and you will see what it looks like
yep did that as well which is why I didn't post. The picture didn't look anywhere near as good as yours. I need a better lense (;-)
