Hiya - I joined a few weeks ago and after a while decided to do what Alan said and un-tick the notification boxes in my profile. It all got a bit out of hand last weekend when it was the big garden birdwatch and people were posting in their hundreds! Welcome to the site by the way and keep posting.
Thanks for that Christine, the mind boggles thinking of all the mail you would have received last week, there was me thinking 38 were a lot!! I loved your pics of the yellow hammer and the reed bunting, we used to get a lot of yellow hammers in the garden but not any more, change of habitat we suppose. Our loss.
