Yesterday Spotter had problems uploading a photo here he said he was using a Mac and couldn't see the insert image icon was it just a glitch in the forum or do you use a different method when uploading photos?
If anyone can explain the method you use if it is different i will amend my thread on how to post photos and quote you in my original post.

I am a mac user and have no difficulty in uploading photos in accordance with the method you describe - the insert image icon appears in rich formatting. However, while the link icon appears, I do have difficulty (still) in activating it.
It would be good if the forum had an "official" Q & A page addressing these and several other issues about the use and navigation of the forum.

Thanks for that Claire i wasn't sure what method you used, i read this morning on another thread someone else had a problem yesterday on a Mac.
That's a good idea about an official Q & A forum maybe it could be something the MODS look at if they see this thread.
Hi Doggie, I am the same as Claire and have no issue currently with Mac or Safari, but occasionally need to clear the cache out. If I have any issues I tend to believe it is a badly behaving Mac or my internet rather than a site problem unless everyone is reporting problems.
