I continue to receive multiple notifications of the SAME message . 8 and 10 notifications of the same message are not uncommon. Yrch !!!

Me too, today. 6 times is not unusual!!
I have the same issues here.
Not as many as 6 though - only 2 or 3 repeats.
I also have been getting up to 6 repeats on some , 3 on others, don't want to block them as I don't always check my page.
Well, help my BOAB (whatever that means) as Tish would say, I am now just a little bit fed up of 10 or more notifications about the same message.
I suppose something IS being attempted to stop this, is it? Graham or whoever needs to know.
I just need some reassurance about the matter.

I am still sufferind this and to be honest it's becoming annoying. Also on checking my mail today I have had two messages regarding the first post Megapix made with regards to digiscoping that was made over a week ago.
Well, I turned on mu computer this morning to find 150 duplicated messages from the website, mostly in multiples of 6 or 3.

Hi, I only joined today but am also receiving multiple notifications. Very confusing. I hope someone is investigating it for us and I certainly hope I don't get 150 otherwise I'll end up with RSI.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Another little glitch I have noticed is that I am being notified about my own postings i.e. as soon as I post a message I will get at least one email telling me that I have. It would be nice if that could be sorted as well.

To stop receiving all the e-mails you need to right click on MY PAGE at the top of this window then on open in New Window. Underneath your name click on Edit my profile
Scroll down and clear the YES box for receive community e-mails then make sure you scroll down and click on Save changes. That should stop them all.

Thanks for that advice. I have cleared both boxes as I am not sure what the "notifications" one was for (as opposed to the community one which you said to clear). I take it clearing those won't prevent other communications from RSPB - like the monthly newsletter...
