Male marsh harrier perched on a fenceline opposite the North Hide at RSPB Radipole. 24/03/11. He remained in position for several minutes - no doubt enjoying the glorious weather, and contemplating the vast array of creatures on the menu.

Taken on Coombe Heath on 22nd of March 11. At Arne it is so tempting to always look up, but looking down also throws some surprises :) This is why I choose this photo for the competition. This Beetle caught my eye because of the wonderful metallic hue produced when flying. It landed and I took some shots...
