Want more mystery quizzes? So what subject will challenge your (and my) little grey cells next? Will it be UK insects, fungi, flowers, or fish? You decide.I look forward to hearing your thoughts.Claire
Insects especially dragonflys and damselflies as I'm trying to get to grip with these.
Obviously I'm biased toward insects.....
"All weeds are flowers, once you get to know them" (Eeyore)
My photos on Flickr
I've gone for fish as I think I may stand a chance of getting a few of those (I will probably be proved wrong though!)
I'm not bald. I've just got ingrowing hair!
If we get fish, Stoat, I will have a stock answere for every one :)
No fellow mycologists out there?
Voted for others,I find farm animals so difficult so vote for them.
I have chosen fungi as I have lots of photos and haven't a clue on this topic so that will be be learning something late in life
had alot of fungi last autumn and wanted to eat them but didnt know if they were safe to eat so they just rotted on my lawns thats way i voted for them
the friedly bid watcher
I, too, would like to learn more dragonflies and damselflies as see so many as well as butterflies but then again if the quiz is as hard as the last one!!!
Oh, can I take that back and withdraw my vote please? I've just realised it will include moths and I think there are about 600 of them! Hard enough learning waders!
I've voted for flowers, beacuse I probably know more about them than any of the others, but I've come to the conclusion that it doesn't really matter what it is, it will be just as hard. (After all, I thought reserves had to be much easier than birds!)
Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
... and the winner is 'Insects'. From Monday the 12th march onwards for 12 weeks I will be posting a quiz question on said subject. I will keep it to species you can see in the UK... you have 6 days to swat (apologies) up on bugs/creepie crawlies!
First insect quizzicals on monday folks....prepare.
Looking forward to it! :-)
