Fantastic skies FP. I love it when the sky looks like that.

FP, superb shots.
I think this must be the blackest of black clouds I have ever seen!
Taken on the banks of Loch Ness many years ago.
I can't remember if the piper finished before the heavens opened.
Shot from the A9 on one of my many journeys up the west coast of Scotland. On this occasion we had visited Loch Garten back in the 90's.

I can't believe that piper carried on playing with that cloud looming above. ( I am so tempted to say that monster of a cloud, it being at Loch Ness. Sorry)
Thanks Buzzard, it is definitely a picture of lovely scenery but with a feeling of anticipation of what is to happen.
Its been some time but I looked at the moon again! Some great shots on this thread by the way.
Look there really is two sides to every story, Its all a matter of taste, dark or light, Mmm cho... no don't do it!
I hope the skies stay clear as I must get back out there.
John :-)
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Fantastic....a joy thanks
We luv da moon!
John, they were certainly worth waiting for but please don't mention chocolate. Anyhow I always thought it was made of cheese!
Seriously though, great pictures, thank you.

The sunrise through our bedroom window, on Thursday last week! Had to look for the camera when still in my nightie, but as you can see, found it in time!
More fantastic photos everyone. Lindybird, that sunrise is magic!
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Buzzard and Lindybird, thanks for those lovely photographs. Oh, what I would give to see such skies instead of these permanent grey ones.
Hi all
More lovely lovely photos everyone - well done - oooh I do love a sky!
