Was thinking that it would be nice to send out Xmas cards this year with one of my photos! I don't have my own printer and any prints that I do want I get from Tesco's! Easy to upload and pick up when I go shopping!
Anyway, back to my question! Can you recommend any companies that print cards? I would only be looking at printing 60 or so... I've done a Google search and there are plenty that offer their services, but it's always good to go on someone's recommendations! (Or indeed avoid those that aren't good!)
Thanks!

Can't help with a recommendation, MarJus, but I do receive several cards each year from friends who seem to have found a way to have them done, somewhere. I'm sure you'll soon get some ideas from other bloggers. Meanwhile, if you only wanted to send a few, there are places like Sainsburys where you can buy packs of I think about 6 cards, ready to put your own pictures inside the sleeve to make a Christmas greeting. I think they're only about £2.99 a pack.
Marjus, suprised you haven't had replies yet. I have made my own cards but copy my own prints directly on to card. Anyhow this should move your question back up the page and you may get some replies.
Sorry MarJus
I can't help - like Brenda H I've done my own. I bought a cheap software package that helps with card design and greetings and then either scanned my photos or uploaded a photo and then obviously printed them off. Not for Christmas admittedly but for invites for my M&D's 50th wedding anniversary party.
If you don't have much luck, let me know as I would be happy to try and help you out here and do them for you (totally cost free of course).
Regards
Kerry

Hmm, can't think of anywhere offhand but will keep an eye out. We sometimes print our own photocards so have never had to have them done commercially (my hubby is a calligrapher and also designs his own Christmas cards). Got a feeling that last time I was in a Jessop's store they would print things out so it's possible that they (or other photo stores) may do something like this?

My sister sent me a card last Christmas with one of her photos, done by Vistaprint.co.uk, looked good. I had some business cards printed for my OH, very smart and quite cheap. I just had a look at the site and the homepage has a section headed Christmas cards (it's that time of year again...)

A site that could prove useful is www.snapfish.co.uk. I took up an offer of free photos from them when I registed on the site a while back. The quality was very good, so they might be worth a try.

Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Thank you all very much for your replies! Will look up Snapfish and Vistaprint too!
Otherwise I may well look into just having lots of prints done and using those 'frame/sleeve' cards (thanks Lindybird!). Kezmo - very kind of you! If I were to take up your offer, it certainly wouldn't go unpaid!!
Plenty to look into although perhaps this might be a project for next year now...lol!!
Sorry MarJus but not much help here LOL {so I am reading your thread with interest}
Never tired to post cards in the fashion that you have mentioned but i would love to know how you achieve, what you do, and how you do it. It is a great idea for Xmas time to add your own personal touch.
I would suggest maybe going to an outlet like 'Staples' as they might do all your copies for you as a treat to yourself. They have top notch high tech printing section for customer use
We asked about laminated prints the other day, and they have up to A0 size!

I've just used http://www.bonusprint.co.uk/ to create my own card that was sent to the US. You can upload your own photos. For the past couple of years though I've gone to the local Hobbycraft shop and picked up packs of ready-scored A4 paper with envelopes. I use the software that came with my Canon printer to print a borderless photo on half of the paper, which is then folded into an A5 card. I've also bought stick-on snowflake shapes and things to add to the cards, again from craft shops. Not sure I'd want to do that for 60 cards though - 10 has been time-consuming enough!

Hi marJus,
just read your post about Xmas cards!
For a number of years I have used photobox, great service & great products.
I have purchased mugs with personal messages on and photo's that I have taken.
I have had some of my photo's turned into jigsaws!
I have purchased mouse mats with photo's that I have taken!
Plus many other things.
When you sign up I think they give you forty prints for free?
Not sure if above offer applies to cards!!!
Simple and easy site to use, lots of offers etc
Here's the link direct to the cards http://www.photobox.co.uk/filters/cards?theme=christmas

Nature Is Amazing - Let Us Keep It That Way
Thank you Maisie, thank you Buzzard! Will have a look at both of those!
Vista have great offers, but by the time you add postage on it works out at about 40p a card which isn't bad at all, but considering most people don't keep the cards, I'm not sure if it's worth it really! Seriously considering the print + card frame option now! Might change my mind again though if either of your suggestions tempt me!
