I have a feeder that the birds use constantly all day,I have to refill it at least 3 times a day,all it is is a round feeder tray that screws into the neck of a 2 litre clear plastic bottle,I have other feeders but this is the one that the smaller birds use,I went up the garden to refill it for the 2nd time today armed with my plastic box of seed and my funnel took down the bottle unscrewed the feeder and took the lid off the seed box and stood it on top of my compost bin lid,one bluetit decided he wasnt going to wait for me to fill the bottle so he alighted in the seed and commenced to feed, now I was only about an arms length away if that so i decided to wait until he had finished, at no time did he even look at me as all his desires had arrived at once,he had all this seed all to himself and wasnt going to be put off,now was that a magical moment or what, all of a sudden off he went and perched in the tree,I filled the bottle and attached the feeder and hung it up again, the little bluetit was still up the tree singing his little heart out telling all the world he was happy.....Magic
