Yes that looks like a typical Pennine landscape Galatas,very similar at this side of the border,blooming horrible !! Normally I love it but all this rain is getting a bit wearing,still got to fill the reservoirs up somehow.

It's many years since I was up Winter Hill. I think it's always raining up there!
Amazing how birds cope with this rain, and the wheatear is gorgeous.

Hi, Sorry did not mean to be rude, its just when you are in a rush its quicker to call them snaps/yes. I was hoping to get out today, but its raining again.
I have just bought myself an MP3 Player to record bird calls on, so i recognise the birds, even if cant see them.
No need to apologise , Amber. I was only kidding. I don't take myself or my pics seriously enough as to get so easily offended. They are just snaps compared to what real photographers take.
Owning a camera doesn't make you a photographer any more than owning a piano or a guitar makes you a musician.
You're evidently wearing out your shoe leather!! We have snow on our mountain tops today, so think yourself lucky just to have a few showers.lol
