I would also look at the dimensions of the image and reduce those to about 1024 pixels on the long edge. They upload quicker that way.

Ok - looks to me like resizing to 800 uploads almost instantly.

What happened Kev when you tried at 1280? any error messages.

Yes, same as before Alan. Took ages and then said there was a problem uploading the picture.

I wonder if it could be internet probs if it's taking too long to upload and it's timing out.

Another thought, are you logged in all the time?, if so log out and sign back in.

If it was me i would try another browser like Firefox to see if that cures it..

I am logged in all the time - I'll try logging out, then in again and see if that makes any difference.
