I was dozing on the sunlounger at about 1-30, the Test Match was still at lunch and I heard the sound of splashing and feathers ruffling. That could mean only one thing... I was right. This time he hopped between the two bowls several times during the session. Does this mean he's a two baths a day robin? I'll see if he returns for his usual 4pm bath later on. For those of you who think there might be some anti-sparrow bias here, I have added some baby sparrow photos at the end of the string. They have been on the site before, but some of you might have missed them first time around.
Looks like someone has plans to get into movies!
Changing dishes for a wee rinse
This is really good fun!
Which dish should I use now?
Ahhh... Bliss...
The 'facilities'
Time for a bit of preening
And now for the cute sparrows...
Charming!

Hi MC great set of photos ! love the 6th one from the end of the Robin sequence, where it's sat in the bowl with it's feathers splayed out either side. And it's lovely to see the baby sparrows.
The truth is I'm mad. We are all mad and many are too mad to know the truth.
Very nice set of pictures, MC. What about doing a video, it would show the Robin's bath time even better than a sequence of stillsl I should think?

A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song. (Chinese proverb)
Where would we be now without our daily dose of robin bathing! Great photos as ever. And a great idea of Teejay's to do a video next! Love the sparrows having a cuddle!
