Well - have you got sadder????????? Perhaps you'd like to share.
I always think this chap looks sad - and who wouldn't be with looks like that!
hee hee - flanges are always good for a sulky look! and my word Sparrow - what a lot of beak to look sad with, and actually the hunched shoulders just don't help ;(
Oh, that poor little magpie. He looks depressed! Baby blackbirds are good at looking sad/sulky. Here's one of our rehabees from 2007.
i'm pretty sad too you know.
Debz.It`s pensive.doggie,Maisie,bob_r_n...They are indeed sad.
sparrow. You have confirmed my theory that women choose a partner with their eyes....and men with their ears.
One of my magpies looks a bit depressed!
Oh stop it - you're making me cry, sob! (Only joking lol)
Great pictures everyone, I'll have a look for some sad faces when I get home (at work now).
I am currently reading a book about dog behaviour and one chapter on how to read facial expressions and other body language... if you excuse the pun, its been an eye opener and if I have learnt one thing it is to....sorry another pun...never take anything at face value! I suspect all these birdies are really happy, they are just looking sad to get your attention and maybe even food!
MrsTnever take anything at face value! I suspect all these birdies are really happy, they are just looking sad to get your attention and maybe even food!
And I thought this chap was looking unhappy because the Mallards had been picking on him again!
Another contender..................never seen one looking sooooo glum
Appleanne - what the crikey is that?
