Came down early for a cuppa, can find the kettle without specs! Saw an outline of a bird on the line post and thought that's not a magpie, then I heard the cha cha noise and saw one bird send off the other, now if I hadn't had to run upstairs for my glasses to take a photo I might have got two.wo!!
Lot to learn
hello, Great photo's. I'm still waiting on the return of the pair in my friends garden in Lanark (camera at the ready). Specsavers? Nah..stronger brew (tea). Regards David

Brilliant photos Gaynor well spotted even with specs.
My photos are on Flickr and Website
Well done Gaynor!
I am enjoying a pair on my feeders at the moment and hoping I'll see the offspring soon. We normally only have them close to the house in winter but this year a pair have found a site in an old oak just the other side of our fence.
God gave us two ears and one mouth for a very good reason!
Thanks for the replies everyone, just been watching SpringWatch where they mentioned the abundance of nuthatches, so thought i'd put this one on, he/she has been coming three or four times a day for the last week, who knows, could be young around.
