Came down early for a cuppa, can find the kettle without specs! Saw an outline of a bird on the line post and thought that's not a magpie, then I heard the cha cha noise and saw one bird send off the other, now if I hadn't had to run upstairs for my glasses to take a photo I might have got two.wo!!
Lot to learn

Well done Gaynor!
I am enjoying a pair on my feeders at the moment and hoping I'll see the offspring soon. We normally only have them close to the house in winter but this year a pair have found a site in an old oak just the other side of our fence.

God gave us two ears and one mouth for a very good reason!
Thanks for the replies everyone, just been watching SpringWatch where they mentioned the abundance of nuthatches, so thought i'd put this one on, he/she has been coming three or four times a day for the last week, who knows, could be young around.
