This has been an historic and very proud day in our sporting calendar.
I am hoarse .... not just with shouting, but with singing the National Anthem so many times!
Can't wait for tomorrow!
WELL DONE TEAM GB.
Cheers, Linda.

A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song. (Chinese proverb)
TeeJayMurray got the mint
Damn, wish i had thought of that lol.
Couldn't get any better, watching Andy win and this fella eating the seed heads (glad i don't like a tidy garden lol)
I am worried, I think Sparrow may have fainted with excitement. I was watching the gymnastics, it's not good for my blood pressure :)
I think Murray just made a very interesting comment . He is fit and he runs his 400 metres in training at 57 secs. Mo Farah ran his last 400 metres (after 9,600 metres) in 53 secs.
Any bets on who will get Sports Personality this year. Perhaps they should all compete for it.
Visiting the Cotswold Water Park. Have a look at http://cotswoldwaterpark.wordpress.com/
GermainI am worried, I think Sparrow may have fainted with excitement.
Worry not, I'm still standing, but only just! Phew! I am in need of a doctor!
I was on the edge of my seat and pommeling away in the men's individual pommel horse competition - and wow a silver and a bronze for us. Unprecendented and brilliant.
Sailors - fantastic, one gold, one silver
Murray - fantastic, one gold. (so far)
Our Olympians are just superb. Pity our footballers are so spoilt. They should watch and learn.
Off cycling again now.
Brilliant Murray - well done! Now go Laura and Andy - make it a double gold for tennis! (We don't ask much do we?!)
Go Jason Kenny!!!
This Olympic stuff is exhausting. Murray/Robson one set up.
I'm flicking between tennis and cycling, cooking a roast chicken, keeping an eye on the garden for any good birds and posting on here. Who says men can't multi-task.
Bob Philpott Any bets on who will get Sports Personality this year. Perhaps they should all compete for it.
Well, Bob, I don't think it will be Murray - after all these years he has definitely at last started to show that he has a personality and as we all know, that's usually the last criteria for the winner of that award. His chances will improve if he can win the US Open and follow that up with the endof season ATP junket in November at the O2. That will keep him in the public mind. If he fails to win the US open and if he does particularly badly there, I can't see him winning the Sports Personality. My bet then would be on Ennis or Pendleton.
PS - does anybody else think Alan (doggie) is guilty of bringing sport into disrepute by dropping pictures of male Bullfinch into this thread(-:).
Bob, happily retired(-:)

Old habits die hard Bob, here's one to get back on topic lol
Redstart? Bluebird? Rock Dove? No, it must be a Clay Pigeon.
You're getting as good as Seymore
Hard luck Andy and Laura
doggie You're getting as good as Seymore
HHHMMMM - not so sure about that, but I knew it wasn't a Willowchiff.(-:)
