The Olympics have won ..... I am now officially obsessed. I have been swimming, diving, rowing, sailing, vaulting, cycling, riding horses, canoeing, jumping hurdles, and even shooting. I am totally knackered with all this effort and still have another week to go!
Go Team GB. We are all proud of you, and Good Luck to little Jess Ennis this evening.
Have you got the Tennis on?
I'm also watching a Goldfinch adult trying to feed twins lol.
Oh Linda do be careful, you are not as young as you were. Go Jess
Murray/Robson in final
Yes, I was flicking between tennis and cycling.
I can't believe I sat through a clay shooting final the other day and was on the edge of my seat with tension and excitement. LOL
Thank you for reminding me, Judi. I have booked a physio session. I will need it. LOL
I'm absolutely knackered. I didn't think I would be quite so hooked on it but I am. I'm completely gobsmacked by the cyclists and the rowers and everyone. Murray in two finals and Jess and Mo with a good chance tonight. I'm going to have a lie down in a darkened room to prepare.
Haha, so glad i am not the only one. So excited about being at Greenwich again on Thursday. Still quite confused by Omnium but sure I will nderstand by the end
Caroline in Jersey
Blimey, girl power strikes again with another world record in the cycling team pursuit. Fantastic
They are awesome. I am exhausted.
I've lost count of how many medals we have, and Jess and Mo to go later. And Murray with two guaranteed silvers tomorrow.
This is unbelievable, but the efforts of everyone, win or lose, are incredible.
I'm just about au fait with the Omnium rules, but will have forgotten again by the next round! LOL.
Yes, even now I'm sat at my laptop with the Olympics on in the background - don't want to miss anything.
Even though I'm a major Federer fan I'm hoping Murray can win the final tomorrow - he's taken a lot of stick in the past but I just feel that he deserves a bit of something now that he's served his apprenticeship! My eyes were boggling after the Federer/del Potro match yesterday that went 19/17 in the final set!
As for our rowers and cyclists etc, we have been done proud this year.
GO JESS GO.......!
As a keen cyclist until about 5 years ago and a grass track rider in my late teens and late 20's I have got hooked on the track cycling, love the tactics involved. And Jess ,well it was minfd blowing, well done to all competitors and good luck to all who have yet to compete
Greg Rutherford, unexpected Olympic Long Jump Champion ............. Wow and wow again, and Mo is still running round.
Fantastic Jess ...... so well deserved and brilliant.
I am crying here.
Well that has been the most extraordinary evening. The dogs thought we had gone mad with the cheering and shouting.
