Crushing peanuts
asgardfleet
Hi, I do know you are meant to crush peanuts for birds, but I cannot do this as I am disabled. Does anyone know of some sort of little electronic device that you can pour them into and it crushes them for you? If so, where can I get such a device from?

Cleaned all the feeders
BirdFeederUK
I have just spent the afternoon cleaning all my bird feeders and feeding station and have also attached a squirrel baffle. All as good as new ready for the cold days where more birds will seek food in the garden.

How to keep crows and jackdaws off your bird feeders (but still let them share nicely!).
Lucydot
Awoken by cackles and gleeful shrieks outside the bedroom window, I looked out early one morning to see a dozen or more crows and jackdaws swinging on my bird feeders and 'drinking' the contents . I spoke later with a neighbour who had experienced the same problem and because of this she had...

Show us ya feeders!
Tern
People here share their pics of lovely birds, but how about your feeders!? Whether it's just one peanut feeder or a 'feeder tree' I think it'll be interesting to see other people's feeders :) AND, people useless with cameras(ie ME) can contribute too, because feeders don't...

Re: Frosty morning
wildshots
Hello Juno, I love the photo of the frosty footprints. Very wintery! We had our first snowfall here in Lancashire last night, albeit very minor. I was half expecting all the feeders to be frozen up again this morning but it's turned out to be lovely. I took this yesterday after the frost. The greenfinch...
