Hi all,
I've been reading a few posts on here and thought it was about time to introduce myself. I'm 26 from Hertfordshire and I've just started to really get in to and enjoy bird watching! I've always been very keen on wildlife and animals in general (we have 2 dogs, 4 rats and 6 fish) and I am now hooked on birds.
As for my garden bird watching, we have a bird table which we put a veriaty of food on, a feeding station with a peanut feeder, a seed feeder with sunflower hearts in and a fat ball feeder and we put meal worms in the tray. We also have nyjar feeder, half a coconut and fat cake feeder up. We're currently attracting Wood Pigeons, Collered Doves, Starlings, Robins, Blackbirds, Chaffinches, Blue Tits and also a Pied Wagtail.
I've also just become a member of the RSPB and will be making a visit to The Lodge and Fowlmere reserves in the next couple of weeks.
I'm looking forward to reading some more posts, learning a bit more and talking to a few people!
Daniel

Welcome, Daniel. Sure you will find lots of interest on this site: don't miss the photo gallery which is always full of great pics from everyone. It's also a great place to ask questions or get idents on birds you don't know, as we are not all experts but share our interests in the wildlife. Don't be scared to ask!
