My Little Garden Birdwatch - Return of the Goldfinch
northdevonfocus
Nice to see the return of the Goldfinch on May Day. Spotted three in the garden, two of which are very pally and are having a great time flitting from bush to bush. One of them has just been preening in the Hawthorne but as usual will do a disappearing act when I get the camera. Oh well here is a picture...

Upon My Return Home From Work

He was totally soaked through but continued singing. I stood beneath him (getting soaked too) and called to him. He looked down and then flew across to...

A Sunny-ish Day But Only A Few Visitors

Lovely and warm today (even managed 30 mins sunbathing earlier) but it's clouding over now. The BT's have been quite vocal and one of them has been checking out the nesting box that was ignored last year. It is on the garage wall just behind the flowering currant and is only 5' off the ground...

Re: Help!

The formatted SD card is working well enough. It was after 5pm and rather gloomy when I got home and the first bird I saw was this goldie off in the distance. Looks like the card was not damaged. I will get a new one just in case...

Goldies In The Snow
monkeycheese
Here are four of the goldies chomping on the niger seed as the snow swirls around them. Hardy little things aren't they?
