How much do you spend on your birdies?
Hawky
I have no idea how much the average cost of a feeder, food, etc, is, and I was hoping others could share their average spend on birds! How much would you say a feeder should cost? How much money on food per week? Any input is valuable to someone with a small income a month!

Re: Bird Free Zone

Apart from next door what's the rest of your neighbourhood like? Do you see sparrows, finches doves or pigeons in your locality? I think the food you use can make a big difference. Next door to me the neighbour's feeders get very few visitors compared to mine. I think this might be because...

Re: BUDGET BIRDING / GOING CHEAP

Hi - can I feed the birds in my garden all year round? Im gearing up to start again now but have not fed my birds over the Summer. I read somewhere that all year round feeding is the right thing to do and now feel bad that I stopped in March....

Dangerous Fat Ball Feeder
pippy
Hello, this is old news for me, but I have only just joined the RSPB community so I wanted to share it with you all as a warning. We have always had a variety of bird feeders - from old flower pot saucers to very modern nijer feeders. Amongst them we have a variety of feeders for fat balls - including...
