hi all.anyone any idea where the greenfinches have gone,this was taken last year have not seen any this year.live in n.wales,and 90% of birds feeding in garden are the sparrows,closely followed by the starlings.is this a general opinion,or native to n.wales at the present time.look forward to any comments regards mags.
i stand corrected,have had my first greenfinch today.he has been feeding on peanuts on and off since 7-00am.lovely to have them back.
There is a disease called trichomonosis which they are vulnerable to....seen many more linnets this year than greenfinches and usually that is the other way round...
