    This is a photo I took of a ring-necked parakett which landed in a cherry blossom tree in my garden last year. It was perfect timing as the blossom had just come out, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and it showed the lovely green feathers of the parrot :)

    A really new visitor to our garden.. I think maybe because of the Swinley Forest fires last year, and subsequent re-planting / cutting / felling etc that is in our forest, that their flight route may have changed. Hopefully a new regular visitor...

    Taken during the Big Garden Bird Watch on the 26th January 2013. There were two Robins in the garden this year as well as a number of other birds.

    Taken at 13.45 on Saturday 29th Jan 2011. The birds on my feeder disappeared very fast as this landed on the fence. It stayed for about 1 minute before chasing a bird into my bay tree. First time seen in the area.
