    Taken at the birdwatch - the first Goldfinch I have seen for a long time. I got a Nyger seed feeder for Christmas and it really seems to work!

    I took this in my garden in Midlothian, I only recently got a fedder for Niger (sp) seed so am very pleased to see them visit.

    This is a picture of my main feeding station. Currently these are the most common visitors, Greenfinches, Goldfinchers and Siskins. The bird spikes work a treat at keeping the pigeons off as well as a kamikaze squirrel who leaps off the trees onto these feeders, the smaller birds don't seem perturbed...
