We're receiving some lovely feedback from you all confirming you're enjoying another Big Schools' Birdwatch. Here are some kind words from a primary school teacher in Manchester...'We had a lovely time yesterday. We spotted birds in our school grounds and the children loved getting out in the fresh air and competing with one another to see who would spot a bird first.Looking forward to next year's birdwatch!’Please do leave a comment below telling us what your school most enjoys about the activity.
We took part in our 8th Big Schools Birdwatch. Always an early start 7.45 followed by breakfast. 16 children and 2 adults. 97 birds and 22 species. A first for this was a siskin which half of us saw. The children had to calm me down I was so excited! Maths tomorrow working on our data!
