  • The Big Schools’ Birdwatch group is moving

Exciting news! We are pleased to announce that the Big Schools’ Birdwatch group is moving, to be part of a bigger and better RSPB ‘Learning’ group! From 1 September, the new group will be active and you’ll be able to read regular blog posts from RSPB education and youth staff, discuss issues and share ideas with other members of the group.

    To join, visit http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/getinvolved/learning/default.aspx

We hope to see you there!

  • Welcome to the new learning community

    Hello

Welcome to the new RSPB Learning Community!

We are very excited here about this new Community blog, which can be used as a resource for everyone involved with learning and young people, no matter what your role is. It is a place where everyone involved with learning can come and share ideas. Whether it be about birds and wildlife, something that’s happening in your school or club, maybe you have a question you would like to ask others or perhaps you could comment on or even use some of the great initiatives the Youth and Education team here at the RSPB has planned throughout the year.

We hope that you will embrace it and visit regularly to make the community a thriving and vibrant place to post (or even to just have a lurk).....

So, if you have something to share, or just want to meet some like-minded people then here is the place to do it. We will have updates from various members of the team (which is UK wide) letting you know about new ideas and asking you what you think of them, highlighting useful resources along with regular posts by me, so there should always be something to inspire or entertain you.

To get you started, have a look at our free Vote for Nature resources, a great way to engage your students with some of our most iconic wildlife

    Happy posting!
