Well, I’ve mentioned already that there are some new projects in the pipeline, and here’s one of them!
The Save birds of prey appeal is currently being rolled out to schools and Wildlife Explorer clubs, and is free for anybody interested to use with their classes, clubs or groups.
If you take a look on the website there is a host of activities and suggestions you can do with your class to help protect some of these amazing birds. In addition, for each bird of prey there is a downloadable factsheet packed with cross-curricular information, and a range of free resources including masks, puppets and bird fliers to name a few!
You will also find a section with some great money raising suggestions, including an illustrated birds of prey money box each of your students can make to collect money for the campaign (and just to say thanks for all your hard work, we will send you a certificate with a special set of stickers for each student).
It’d be great to hear if you are excited about this appeal, and how you might incorporate it into your class’ plans this academic year (the appeal runs until July). It can be as big or as small as you want it to be!
Ssh...we have a few information packs left, including an A1 poster and teachers’ notes, so if you would like one to support you in teaching this appeal, drop us an email email@example.com (while stocks last).
We also have 3000 easy to assemble perforated card money boxes, email the above address to get yours (while stocks last).
