Couldn't believe the colours of this September sunset in which made the local news.

this is at rye meads reserve within 10 minutes of walking in the door this fox gave great views and at the time i didnt even have a massive lens on she wandered round for a good 20 mins she and a very brave snipe absolutley made my day

The Black-headed Gull is not really a black-headed bird at all. It has a more chocolate-brown head and in fact for much of the year it has a white head. It is most definitely not a "seagull" and is found at estuaries, coastal marshes, freshwater marshes, gravel pits, lakes and reservoirs, moorland...
