This Red deer was rutting in Richmon park back in October 2010. He was certainly the boss in that neck of the woods.

This was taken on a misty morning in October in Richmond park. The Red deer were in full rutt and this Stag had been involved in some serious action just a short while before, seeing off a rival. But then he returned to his family for some quality time.

I discovered a litter of fox cubs at my local reservoirs in east London. I hid lying down in the long grass to take this shot. The cubs knew I was there but I don't think they knew what I was - this one approached me out of curiosity, before lying down less than 5 metres away!
