  • Photo: Brown Hare at full speed

Taken on some local pasture land in Derbyshire. Managed to take a few shots before it bolted!
  • Photo: Red Squirrel at Dusk

This photo was taken in 2010 on the RSPB Abernethy Reserve. I was volunteering at the Loch Garten Operation Osprey Project, which was the first, of now many, RSPB volunteering experiences I have had. It is one of the few places in Britain where you can have intimate experiences with our native endagered...
  • Photo: Squirrel digging for dinner

It's hard enough finding something to eat when you are a wild animal let alone when it's buried in 6 inches of snow
  • Photo: Portrait of Brown Hare

This Hare, spotted at RSPB Dungeness early one morning, was happily nibbling at vegetation and allowed me to get incredibly close, sp close in fact that I had to stop taking photos as I couldnt focus. • Photo: Get off my land!

This Red deer took exception to me sitting on a trunk in his patch and came over to let me know I wasn't welcome - from about 6 feet away! Have to say i was a little nervous, but there was nowhere I could go without stepping out into the open so I just sat my ground. Luckily having voiced his opinion...
  • Photo: I am the champion!

This Red deer was rutting in Richmon park back in October 2010. He was certainly the boss in that neck of the woods.
  • Photo: Red Deer family Portrait

This was taken on a misty morning in October in Richmond park. The Red deer were in full rutt and this Stag had been involved in some serious action just a short while before, seeing off a rival. But then he returned to his family for some quality time.
  • Photo: Inquisitive fox cub

I discovered a litter of fox cubs at my local reservoirs in east London. I hid lying down in the long grass to take this shot. The cubs knew I was there but I don't think they knew what I was - this one approached me out of curiosity, before lying down less than 5 metres away!
