Taken in my garden in Prestwood, Buckinghamshire on 24 March - the first real sign of Spring 2012

Courting herons captured on camera at the established heronry, situated at Verulamium Park, St. Albans, Herts.

This photo was taken at Blashford Lakes, nr. Ringwood in Hampshire. I had been looking out for the bittern for some time before it emerged from the reeds.

This picture was taken at the beautiful Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens in Dorset. This plant certainly attracted the bees. I had never seen so many on one plant -should be plenty of honey.

Couldn't believe the colours of this September sunset in which made the local news.
