This weekend was the Raptor Study Group conference which was a good chance to catch up with other kite workers across Scotland.  News from Galloway is that two of our birds from 2009 are still regulars at the feeding station at Laurieston.  A2 and A3 were cage mates for much of last summer and were originally from Central Scotland.  Below is a picture of A3 on the day of release in Aberdeen.


In Central Scotland young birds purple/pink 76 and 61 are still at the main regional roosts, along with red colour ring from 2008.
