Training the trainers and advising the advisors is always a good strategy. This week sees the first two training days organised as part of the Campaign for the Farmed Environment.
One of the days is at Hope Farm on Thursday where we will be able to show farm advisors the work we've done and demonstrate that many others farmers could do some similar things. The day is targetted at agronomists and farm advisors - so if they are convinced they can spread the word widely!
Let's hope the weather isn't too ghastly!
Job to know about these advisers as some who gave us advice were absolutely fantastic and we could not have had any more help and advice all free.Sadly we also had advisers, quite often highly paid ones who were absolute rubbish, fortunately we always seemed to realise they didn't have a clue and so ignored them.Lets hope your training days attract the good ones but I guess they are only thinking about how high a fee they can charge their clients which I suggest is not a good starting point but would be delighted to be wrong.
