Many congratulations to the RSPB's Chief Executive on being awarded a knighthood in the New Year's Honours list.
Richly deserved, boss!
Here pictured a few weeks ago at the beginning of The Wave.
Fantastic news!
Must be nice that he has been recognised as the leader of what is becoming larger group to have influence in decisions and must be very difficult to strike a balance in all things for all people.Often think perhaps the most difficult thing for people in jobs such as his is to more or less have a thick skin because as someone said "you can't please all the people all the time".When criticised it must be difficult not to be hurt and for sure I think probably 80% of the time RSPB does a brilliant job, probably disagree the other 20%.
Wonder if jamesm will have some comment,he seems quite humorous lately and quite often he seems to at least put another point of view.Don't know about the bit about peasants as luckily I seem to meet a wide range of say different classes and for sure there are as many nice people in each class(I really hate that word but don't know what else to describe it)hope anyone who objects will understand.
Really smart move to make positive comments on your boss Mark.
Mark. Very good news. I am just off for a New Year break but will ensure I pass on our congratulations when I get back. Bob
