It's bitterly cold today. Luckily, here at The Lodge we've managed to miss the worst of the weather, with just light snow fall over the past few days.
Some of our stores haven't been so lucky and a few have had to close. If you are planning on visiting an RSPB shop, please contact them first to check whether they're open. Of course, they'll do their very best to stay open if it's at all possible.
Another weather related problem we're having is at our call centre. They're pretty much snowed in and staff are doing their best to struggle through the snow and ice to get to the office, but not everyone will make it in. So it may take us a little longer than usual to answer calls today. Please bear with us.
Our call centre is now back to full capacity, but some postal and courier services are struggling to deliver parcels to areas of the country affected by the severe weather. We're sending your parcels out every day, and the delivery drivers are doing their best to get them to you as quickly as possible.
We hope your parcel won't be affected and apologise for any inconvenience.
We have a special offer for our online friends.
Starting today we're offering you FREE UK P&P for 5 days only.To get your free P&P use this code in the shopping basket when you place your order.
You'll see the discount at the end of the checkout process, on the review order page, before payment is made.

Visit the RSPB online shop today for great Christmas cards, gifts and bird food.
RSPB customer Paul Elwell very kindly gave his permission for us to use this fantastic photo of a goldcrest on an RSPB Square bird cake feeder.
The effects of the recent bad weather are still being felt around the country, even though many areas are now snow-free.
Please read our information page for more details.
We'll update as soon as we have more information.
