Remember, birds were on this planet before man.
Hi Brenda
Thank you for your kind comment on my page. I was so tired last time I posted to you and got myself all is a muddle LOL.
Yes, it is true what you say that I am making up for lost time. Summer has been a bit sad without a bit of bird watching and walking about in the fresh air. I like my walks.
We have one or two trips arranged. We want to go to the Lodge H/Q's at Bedford this Saturday weather permitting. Arrange to go to Glasgow related Reserves in the near future. We also want go back to Hunstanton, Norfolk as we paid our hotel twice for one night - Daves mistake so we will ask for another night their once more.
The RSPB Forum is a fabulous site and it does what it tells you on the tin - it is very informative and helpful. People are all on one level here, and we all want to help one another as much as possible.
You enjoy your birding trips too, and I would love to hear about your adventures. Even a local place close to where you stay makes all the difference for a bit of bird/wildlife watching

Love the conversation about the Kestrels in MarJus's thread
Lack of sleep catching up from last night {wink}

How are you?
Loved your Kestrel pictures a whole lot
Thank you for your reply to my message
Waders take a while to know, and it is taking time to look at them at every opportunity that you get. I will ask your opinion of species if any photos are not clear if I manage to get any decent shots this weekend - weather permitting.
The rural life is fabulous and something I miss a lot whwere I am now. Not to say we can move to a more peaceful patch in the future. Too built up for my liking here as I like peace. While living in Aberdeenshire we saw lot of Foxes, Deer, and Badgers close to our cottage and it was fabulous to see them so close by. Wish I had a decent camera then
I hope to see lots of your pictures sometime in the future, I really look forward to that a lot. Love hearing and see other peoples experiences unfold anytime day or night.
You enjoy your weekend too with all your family members too whatever you have planned yourself
How are you at the moment?
Enjoying the Forum - it is a good one is it not!
