I am married with 2 grown up Daughters and four Grandaughters.

I love all birds especially Ospreys and am passionate about wildlife in general.

I have loads of hobbies which keep me busy, including Photography, arts and crafts and gardening. I have an elderly cat and a pond teeming with goldfish.

I belong to a local church and enjoy being involved in church life and community projects plus am a member of the choir.

I am supposed to be retired, but am spending several hours a week, helping my husband to run a Judo Cub.

I was formerly called gsnowey on the Loch Garten blog last year........ but due to problems logging on this year, had to change my name on here.

I have been watching the webcam for three years now and my earliest visit to Loch Garten was in 2003.

i was with a  friend last night and she was talking about marco photos insect etc, she got a 1st at camrea club and shes using a compac camrea price around £100. I,m using nikon D40 with 3 lenes from 18..55.. 55..200.. and 70..300..and a few filters

prices are dropping on camreas . maybe father christmas may bring you one..

but as a friend keeps telling..out of every 100 photo you may only get a few good ones if lucky..and its not the camrea who using it.. think she trying to tell me something..lol

Hi Lorraine. Thank you so much for your really lovely comments. I didn't wear my Crocs in the end cos the flatties I bought just before the symposium were fine, albeit in small doses. I did take a photo with the crocs sticking out and I'll post that on FB soon. Unfortunately I felt like I was in a tent in the dress :'-( I was very self conscious. Never mind, it's all over now. I'm very very tired and it's taking me a while to get going. As Treasurer I still have a lot of work to do yet. I came on here tonight for a quick catch up before heading to bed very early.

Thank you again :) Nite x

I don't get around much as I can't drive. Hubby takes me to the gym once a week for a good swim, while he works out!!!     Also in the summer cricket tends to take over as he is an umpire and also arranges umpires for the ECB Northamptonshire youth teams. In the winter he is sorting out umpires ready for next season - so I become something of a cricket widow in the summer but don't mind as it keeps him happy.

Off to Yorshire in a couple of weeks time - Thornton le Dale for a week.
