sorry i made a right pigs ear ou of the first few words but hope you get the meaning. another good book is rescue me can't remember the author. it is about battersea and there are probably only 2 harrowing stories. most of it is about the rehoming

th homes foranks for the story of your rescue dogs. it beggars belief that people can turf their dogs out on the street. what are rescue. if my dogs go missing on a walk (it rarely happens) i feel sick with worry. we have 2 dogs home close and it may well be that we go there when we want another dog. we have always got another dog when we still have one. i know rescuing is the decent thing to do. it is just that i have always had a thing about retrievers

well worth reading is a book called "walking ollie" by stephen foster. it is about a rescue dog (found on his own at just 8 weeks old). it is both funny  and sad, but with a good ending.

not everyone agrees, but i preferred it to "marley and me" funnily my brother has a dog called marley. named after their initials ie Mabel, Alison, Richard and Lindsey with ey added at the end

think you are doing really well jeannie. dave changed the avatar for me ,cos i really haven't a clue! when we got dillon i wanted to call him bilbo but decided against it as i thought everyone would be calling their dogs after characters in "lord of the rings" actually i really would have liked to call him dumbledore after the headmaster of hogwarts, but even i realized that was not a good idea yes,goldies do have a good nature.

would love to know more about your rescue dogs. that may be what we do next though as yet no definite decision
