Don’t you find that the most difficult thing to write is always yourself? So, with a deep breath…
I’m one of the lucky ones: as a kid, I was encouraged to rootle around in rock pools, build mud dams, and indulge all my fascination for anything that moved.
That fascination remains with me today (except I can quite happily ignore maggots!). I find the natural world spellbinding, and Britain’s countryside awesome.
I have a wonderful job to boot, mainly working with the RSPB nature reserve staff in South East England to help make their sites as good as possible for visitors.
And now I’ve been let loose on an RSPB blog. It’s all about wildlife gardening, which is my passion when I’m not out and about looking at wildlife outside of gardens. If you like gardening for wildlife too, I hope to ‘see’ you there, sharing your ideas and experiences.
