The weather forcast for the raptor weekend looks a bit dodgy but that won't affect the osprey going about their business in the slightest, and there was a lot of activity yesterday from them in the sun as well. Paul and his group on the guided walk were very lucky to get three osprey at once in their sights and hear them calling to one another, a thing a starry eyed Paul admitted he had never heard before.

Spoonbill, black tailed godwit and masses of curlew were impressing out of the double decker hide, as well as 'Britain's most sought after wildlife experience'; seeing a kingfisher!

Plenty of migrants too with yellow wagtails, redstart and plenty of sand martins being seen flitting around.
