Wherever you look there's always a lot to see at Arne, be it gently grazing sika deer or a speeding squirrel.

It had been my dream seeing one day such a large number of avocets in the RSPB Arne. The dream was was fulfilled when I visited on January 18!

I came across this lizard, and it seemed to be balancing on some heather... almost floating! I think it is important that all species such as birds, mammals,reptiles, butterflies, insects etc are all recognised equally; I think that Arne is a good example of this.

Quick Question - I have a few photo's I would really love to add to the gallery, but they are larger than 4MPs when I transferred them to my computer and therefore can't add. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make them smaller? Thanks Vicky.

Arriving at Arne on a misty morning at daybreak photo opportunities were limited however these two posed rather nicely as I peered through the gloom.
