Mind your heads in the Glaslyn Osprey hide, the swallows are back and building, along with the cuckoo which has been heard in the valley this week - it’s a sign of summer arriving. On Sunday the grass got the splash of rain its been waiting for, and we’re now hoping for a spurt in greenery and seasonal flowers, and with them more bees and butterflies. A third Osprey caused excitement yesterday as it soared over the visitor centre, get your binoculars out and look out for a ring! It would be great to think a Glaslyn born osprey had returned to the area. The brown hares have been seen running in the fields, their extra long legs giving them fantastic bursts of speed. I’ll do my best to catch up and get a photo!
Meindiwch eich pen pan ewch chi i’r guddfan gwylio ym Mhont Croesor, mae’r gwennoliaid yn ôl ac wedi adeiladau eu nyth, cafodd y gog ei glywed yn canu yn y cwm wythnos yma hefyd - arwydd fod yr haf ar ei ffordd. Ar ddydd Sul cafodd y glaswellt y glaw oedd ei angen, a gobeithio cawn flodau a gwyrddni ar ei ôl, gobeithiwn hefyd weld mwy o wenyn a gloÿnnod byw. Cafodd trydydd gwalch y pysgod ei weld ddoe yn hedfan o gwmpas y canolfan, edrychwch trwy eich binocwlar i weld am fodrwy! Byddai’n dda meddwl fod gwalch y pysgod genedigol o Laslyn wedi dod yn ei ôl. Mae’r ysgyfarnogod brown i’w gweld yn y caeau cyfagos, fe wna i fy ngorau i dal lan efo nhw i gael llun!
