Good news as the new male Osprey in the area settles on a nearby platform, put in place by the Friends of the Ospreys in 2009. The very white male was seen swooping over the Glaslyn nest over the weekend. The female showed only a slight bit of annoyance as she stayed firmly on the three eggs. The male...

Mind your heads in the Glaslyn Osprey hide, the swallows are back and building, along with the cuckoo which has been heard in the valley this week - it’s a sign of summer arriving. On Sunday the grass got the splash of rain its been waiting for, and we’re now hoping for a spurt in greenery...
