Welcome to the Symonds Yat blog.
For the last 25 years we have been protecting the peregrine falcons at Clearwell Cliffs and we have only just got around to writing a blog!
So if you are interested to know the comings and going of all the wildlife from the viewpoint then check back regularly to find out what’s been going on!
We begin: After the disappointment of last year when the peregrines failed to fledge, young we are hoping for a much better year, and the weather so far has not disappointed - it has been magical!
The peregrines are now settled on eggs and have been swapping duties regularly. They laid at the beginning of the month so they will be hatching out near the end, make sure you come down when the eggs are hatched to see mum and dad bringing in loads of load, i.e. pigeons! yum!
Check back next week for the next exciting instalment of the Symonds Yat blog 2009.
