Another good day out at Bempton RSPB, I was in the feeding station taking photos of the inhabitants mainly tree sparrows, when all of a sudden the woodpecker dropped in. It landed on the peanut feeder nearest to the seating area, very good I thought just right, but after awhile it took off. Al;l was not lost because it returned, but landed on the peanut feeder under the tree, see photo with other feeder spoiling the picture, anyway Alan I think it was came up and i was showing him the shots of the woodpecker, on seeing the photo of the one under the tree Alan moved the peanut feeder down to the bottom of the feeding station, onto the logs, that`s what I call looking after the members and visitors, thank you Al;an I just love.
